zNano’s mission is to develop robust biomimetic membranes for industrial use that consume minimal amounts of energy. Our patented breakthrough biomimetic membrane technology can perform separations of small molecules at an order of magnitude higher permeability than current membranes.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Brozell’s has developed bio-inspired devices at the intersection of sol gel chemistry and structural biology. He is an expert in lipid bilayers,  surface chemistry, sol-gel chemistry and nanotechnology with numerous papers published in peer reviewed journals and several patents on these subjects.  He was a business development fellow of the UC Davis graduate school of management.

Arian Abed-Amoli has over five years of experience working with biomimetic membranes.  As an undergraduate researcher, he authored several papers in the field.
